Something in the Air- Nick Smith's Airbrush blog
Hello, let me introduce myself and this Blog, my name is Nick Smith and I’ve been an airbrush artist since 1992. So why am I only doing this now, in 2010? Well primarily the Internet (as we know it today) didn’t exist as such then. Also via the medium of ‘ebay’ and ‘youtube’ and the various forums that I post on I am often asked question about gear, what do I use and why? Also what is the best airbrush for such and such task etc?
Well instead of answering those questions over and over again I am going to write it all down here, along with photographs, illustration and and video demonstrations.
I am going to do some ‘user-testing of what products are out there and try and give you some idea of what does what and why you should try certain tools and mediums.
Primarily I do airbrushed t-shirts and Leather jackets but I also do trucks and cars, but I really enjoy murals and large scale work.
